Grace

Allows us to know God

Jesus
The author of my hope
Consumes the corners of my living
The power of His presence
Calms doubts through giving

The fabric of my life
Now woven within His call
Brings a wondrous grace
And a love for us all

The reason for my being
Is shown from above
This suffering of God’s Son
Brought oneness through His love

He’s pried my life open
To the desires of His will
Now filling my torn world
With a peace forever still

I’ve come to understand
This life at His pace
Now weakness becomes strong
With power through His grace

God knows the broken hearts
Of those we can’t see
My forgiveness for them
Blesses His love of me

The meek among us
Will be the ones He adore
The wretched and lost
Will be His forever more
I love this Jesus
Who’s turned my world around
Then changed what’s lost
To a love that’s found

My heart desires to know Him
As my life abides in Him
I grow with the love of Him
As I live in the hope from Him

This love from God
Again I sat toward the back waiting
Would the reason for my being arrive
I’ve come from the valley of lost souls
Knowing from my heart He’s still alive

I’ve looked at my life and said Lord why
Then looked at my neighbor and saw only tears
The trials of this life lives within His Love
A journey toward truth that draws us near

I once wrote join this fight or die alone
Living this life I’m seeing His grace
The wonders lived He’s more than just won
Abiding in His love is completing His race

Our why for life is finding Jesus Christ
The truth is God created and it was done
His reason springs from within His love
Our hope is found in Jesus His Son

I sit at His table consuming His peace
A view unfolds requiring a new me
Learning His truth has shaken my soul
The love He displays permits me to be

Who do I thank for this air that I breathe
Loving Jesus brings unknowns into view
This new world with new songs thrills
I’m old but now young living something new

Love was a word I would give to get
Now love has grown into a life that lives
The truth in a man is known by who he is
The love of God is shown by how He gives

Seeing this Jesus with brand new eyes
I find He created us as His Treasure
This world of joy is full of His wonders
Our soul is now free live for His pleasure
